At the junction of the Attiki Odos Freeway and Kifisias Boulevard/Expressway one finds themselves in uptown Athens which was part of a decentralization program. One finds several important medical centers, telecommunication enterprises including the Greek State Telephone Company, government ministries, shopping and entertainment centers to name but a few. In the foreground one sees a transportation center for those traveling using the metro/subway and/or the suburban railroad .
