Porto Katsiki, Lefkada

Porto Katsiki (Greek: Πόρτο Κατσίκι) is one of the most famous beaches in Greece and Europe in general. Porto Katsiki in English means "Port of the Goat", due to the fact that in the past only a goat was able to access this area. It is 35 kilometers away from Lefkada Town and is near the village of Athani . The unique view of the white cliff over the beach combined with the surrounding green of the area and the crystal clear blue green colored sea make this beach popular with both locals and tourists alike.

Egremni Beach ; Lefkada

Egremni (Greek: Εγκρεμνή or Εγκρεμνοί) is a remote beach located on the south-western coast of the Ionian island of Lefkada, north-western Greece. Since the creation of a sealed road during the mid 1990's, this remote beach has become one of the premier tourist destinations on the island, and in Europe as a whole.

The beach is accessed from the car park via 347 steep steps that hug a rugged cliff face. The waters of Egremni are strikingly clear and the sunsets are dramatic. The beach is composed of fine to medium-sized pebbles that are very comfortable to lie on, in the white color typical of the Ionian Islands.
